AFTER THE FLOOD

The summer of 2021 in Australia didn’t begin with fires but began with floods that wiped out a lot of homes and left many families displaced. It was incredibly heartbreaking to watch especially after such a tough year due to the Corona virus but also incredibly inspiring to see Australians come together in bravery as they began to rebuild communities and homes.

I captured these images of my son the first day the sun come out after the rain. To me it represented everything Australia endured and also the guts the took to overcome… again.
